Globally the Peerpoint team is around 40 people. We interviewed some members of the team about what they do and what it means to be part of the Peerpoint business.
Louise Catton, Resourcing Manager, UK
Louise is part of our resourcing team based in London who recruit for Peerpoint’s UK consultant panel.
"I guide prospective consultants through our recruitment process, which can begin far earlier than when a formal application is made- we regularly have exploratory conversations with individuals who are assessing whether consultancy is the right career option for them.
Before joining Peerpoint, I was a lawyer at Herbert Smith Freehills. Having decided that a legal career wasn’t for me long term, I explored resourcing roles within law firms, and when I heard about Peerpoint, it struck a chord- supporting people to develop a successful legal career but with more balance and control. My previous experience as a lawyer has been helpful as I have an insight into the various practice areas as well as an understanding of the reality of working in private practice.
The culture at Peerpoint is collaborative, so I’m interacting with colleagues, candidates, and meeting a huge variety of people every day. It is a very exciting business to be a part of and, having joined in the early days, I've seen the team grow and the business mature while maintaining one of the most supportive offerings around."

Georgeanna Mok, Resourcing and Business Management Executive, APAC
Georgeanna manages the resourcing of Peerpoint’s consultant panels in Hong Kong and Singapore. She is based in Hong Kong.
"I’m usually the first person that prospective consultants get to know when they show an interest in Peerpoint or apply to join us. I enjoy conversations around why lawyers are interested in consulting, along with finding out if consulting aligns with what they want in their life, from a career and personal perspective. I also appreciate that many people are new to consulting, so I take the time to share our philosophy and how we can support them in having more choice and control over their careers.
I joined the Peerpoint team to support lawyers interested in defining their own careers, and at the same time grow my own breadth of experience by also working on wider business management matters. I have relished being involved in a broader variety of work and being part of an enthusiastic and inclusive team. Finally, having the ability to positively assist and support consultants and client businesses always puts a smile on my face."

Rachel Carter, Head of Peerpoint, Australia
Rachel leads our team in Australia and is based in Sydney. She has just returned from parental leave and is currently acting as Head of Peerpoint, Asia.
“The Head of Peerpoint position is responsible for driving sustainable growth of the business in Australia. Key to this is guiding the team to ensure that the business simultaneously grows its consultant resource base and client demand. This can involve setting business plans and targets, developing and implementing new operational models and initiatives to improve business outcomes, and ensuring that the quality and integrity of Peerpoint’s service is maintained to A&O’s market-leading standards.
I love being part of a business that has changed and continues to change the way clients in the legal industry view value. At the same time, I love being part of a business that has offered hundreds of lawyers an alternative career path. For some lawyers, Peerpoint has given them a way to balance their mental health and a challenging role; a way to be a lawyer with a young family; or a way to pursue their passions outside of law.”

Emma Morrison, Client Development Manager, UK
Emma is part of our UK client team who are based in London and Emma works remotely from Manchester.
“The team supports clients to find the quality interim resource they need whether that’s for fluctuations in busyness, periods of absence, skills gaps, or support for projects. I work with clients to understand their needs and our consultant management and recruitment teams to service those needs. Placing a consultant is not the end of the journey, the ongoing management of placements for both clients and consultants allows us to adapt services to suit the client need, as well as supporting our consultants’ careers.
I have worked in client relationship management for most of my career including working within the Allen & Overy CRM team before joining Peerpoint. The real driver for me is understanding client challenges and providing solutions. The role comes with the added bonus of a fun and collaborative team, where ideas are encouraged resulting in a start-up culture within a well-established business. I work remotely from Manchester most of the time, so having a supportive team allowing you to work in a way that enables you to deliver your best, is a game-changer.”
