Helping deliver a client’s strategy

A global asset manager was looking for an experienced consultant who could bridge various areas of expertise.

The challenge

A global asset manager required interim legal counsel support in its alternative funds business covering PE, RE and infra. The legal team were looking for consultant lawyers who had the required experience to support the establishment and on-going maintenance of alternative funds whilst advising the broader sales team on the marketing regulations of new fund products during a busy period.

What we did

After taking a detailed brief from the client we identified an experienced legal consultant with a restructuring background and a keen interest to develop their skillset further in the funds world. Having worked for global asset managers and an elite U.S. law firm previously, the Peerpoint consultant was well suited for the role. Due to the success of the Peerpoint consultant’s initial placement the client has since extended their support within the legal team.

The outcome

Peerpoint was able to deploy a top ranking consultant within the asset manager’s legal team. This alleviated internal pressure that the team was facing whilst ensuring a seamless stakeholder experience. Due to the consultants varied background they have been able to support the client on a number of non-funds specific projects which has ultimately helped further the client’s strategy/vision.
